Continental selects ABD brake robots for innovative new facility.
Continental is using ABD brake robots in a unique new facility at its Contidrom centre in Germany, billed as the first fully-automated, weather-independent tyre test facility in the world. A 300 metre hall with interchangeable road-surfaces, combined with precise brake inputs from BR1000 brake robots, will allow an incredible 100,000 automated brake tests per year to be performed at speeds of up to 120kph.
