Our products use precision servo-controlled actuators, real-time motion controllers, and advanced data acquisition systems to enable customers to characterise vehicles and their sub system properties (for example suspension and steering systems).
The varied role will develop with time to involve commissioning and calibrating of SPMMs in the UK and abroad, customer training/support and software testing.
Some foreign travel will be eventually required to assist with the installation and calibration of equipment at customer research and development facilities and customer training. A driving license would be beneficial.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with an engineering degree or an individual having an equivalent HND course, coupled with appropriate industrial experience. The role would also be well suited to an individual with a year or two post-qualification experience
An analytical mind would be beneficial and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Experience of Electrical systems, closed loop control of servo motors including EtherCat and Matlab would also be beneficial.
Applicants that can demonstrate a keen interest in engineering with examples of practical experience both inside and outside of the workplace would be looked upon favourably.
