The latest version of ABDs Robot Controller software has been released and includes an audible countdown to the end of a test. This enables the driver to know how much time is remaining without needing to look at the software, improving test safety.
The new version 7.28 includes a raft of other new features and improvements, such as:
- Custom test sequencer. Creates a sequence of tests in any order, allowing repetition of one or more tests and auto-advance to the next test in the sequence.
- Improvements to the AEB test groups. These will be of interest to customers running vehicle-to-vehicle tests, and using the Soft Pedestrian Target (SPT).
- Many improvements have also been made to the CAN functionality within Robot Controller. Particular attention has been paid to improving the ease of setup of CAN inputs to the robot.
