AB Dynamics, a leading automotive test systems supplier, claims the recent growth in wireless data transfer from the increasing use of driverless traffic in automotive testing is causing significant issues for the industry.

Automotive test systems supplier AB Dynamics has collaborated with VW, Audi and Porsche to demonstrate what it claims is the greatest number of vehicles to be successfully synchronized in a ‘swarm test’. The movements of seven automated vehicles were synchronised with an Ego vehicle (the vehicle under test) in a range of tests at the Nardò Technical Center, Italy.

Euro NCAP has announced the release of a second series of Highway Assist tests, as well as publishing details of its dedicated test and assessment protocols to evaluate the performance of assisted driving technologies. Tests were carried out on 10 vehicles that are currently offering Highway Assist technology.

We will be hosting a technical presentation about our simulation product range at this year's Driving Simulation Conference between 9^th-11^th September. Topics covered at the conference will include the latest driving simulation developments encompassing tools for autonomous and connected vehicles along with ADAS applications.
