We are delighted to announce that AB Dynamics has been accredited with the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification. It has been achieved following a rigorous third-party audit from TUV UK Ltd, a leading Certification Body.
This accreditation will reinforce our current health and safety policy and demonstrates the company’s commitment to employee safety. It will help to further reduce workplace risks, ensure our legal obligations are met and improve the overall health and safety performance.
“Achieving this internationally recognised standard will help us reduce risks throughout the organisation and improve our safety performance, culture and demonstrate safety leadership,” said Tony Cotton Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager. “The standard sends a positive message to our employees and stakeholders that health and safety is, and will continue to be, our top priority.”
To achieve the accreditation, the Health, Safety and Environment team further developed our Health and Safety Management System, which is made up of a suite of policies, procedures and documentation that effectively manage, control and improve our health and safety performance and obligations.
The certification is applicable to the company’s UK headquarters and European operation based in Germany. It complements the company’s current ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification, which will become an integrated Management System.
“Key to the ongoing success and application of the system will be the support and involvement from all our employees, including several appointed safety champions,” concludes Tony. “Our next step is to expand the scope of our accreditations to include all our international subsidiaries.”
