Discovering the future: AB Dynamics demonstrates expertise at Explore to Innovate 2023

Explore To Innovate 2023

This week we will be attending Explore to Innovate 2023, an event that focuses on the future of mobility and the intersection of research, technology, and industry collaboration.

Organised by the Institute for Driver Assistance and Connected Mobility at Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Explore to Innovate will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of June at the Innovation Park Allgaeu Airport in Benningen.

Explore to Innovate aims to bring together experts from academia, industry, and research institutions to explore the latest advancements and trends in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. This year’s event theme is "Research and Technology Up-close and Live", which emphasises the importance of technology transfer for the benefit of people, the economy, and society. AB Dynamics, in collaboration with our partners, will contribute to the event by sharing our expertise in the field of automated and digitalised mobility. Event attendees will also be able to experience our static and dynamic simulators on site.

"We are excited to be part of Explore to Innovate 2023 and contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding the future of mobility," said Holger Hildsberg, Managing Director of AB Dynamics’ European operation. "By actively engaging with the scientific community, industry experts, and research partners, we can collectively shape the path towards a more automated and connected automotive landscape."

On day 1, Peter Daley from our sister company rFpro, will be taking to the Science Talk stage to present “Seeing the world through the eye of a (virtual) sensor – using the latest ray-tracing technology”. Science Talk will also feature other presentations by over 20 speakers from institutions and companies such as VW, Audi, Porsche Engineering, BMW, Hyundai, and Continental.

Day 2 is the Track Day, where attendees will experience live demonstrations of various technologies and methodologies, including AB Dynamics’ LaunchPad 80, featuring the newly released DRI Soft Motorcycle 360, a Powered Two-Wheeler Target (PTW) target that focuses on realism, modularity and durability.  AB Dynamics’ Stefan Vorderobermeier will also be taking part in a panel discussion on the topic “How do we better reconcile testing and simulation?” alongside other participants from companies including 3DMapping, Barco, Cosin, IPG -Automotive and Hyundai Motors Technical Center Europe.
