AB Dynamics releases LaunchPad video

AB Dynamics has just launched a new video of their pilotable platform LaunchPad travelling with Euro NCAP VRU (Vulnerable Road User) pedestrian and bicycle dummies, meaning the AEB car-to-VRU 2018 international test standard can be performed along with other ADAS tests.

The video shows that the LaunchPad is not restricted to straight lines, demonstrated in its four-wheel drive, four-wheel steer capabilities which can be used for complex path following tests. LaunchPad also benefits from using AB Dynamics’ Synchro technology to enable precise choreography with the subject vehicle and work seamlessly with other systems in their range.

Also included in the video is a demonstration showing how quick and easy it is to change the batteries.
