ABD has developed a new brake robot actuator, its most powerful brake robot ever.
The RBR1500 is a compact high performance unit that can apply over 1200N to the brake pedal at speeds in excess of 1m/s and has a peak force in excess of 1500N. In common with all ABD brake robots, the RBR1500 can be used for precision control of pedal position and force and also vehicle deceleration using external feedback. The RBR1500 can also be used in conjunction with ABD steering robots.
