How we're dealing with Brexit

How Ab Dynamics Is Dealing With Brexit

With continued uncertainty about the future relationship between the UK and the European Union we would like to outline our plans to ensure that, regardless of the outcome of the Brexit negotiations, AB Dynamics will continue to fully support our valued European customers.

Last year we established a new subsidiary in Germany called AB Dynamics Europe GmbH. This entity is based in Gießen, north of Frankfurt, and is managed by Klaus Weimert, Commercial Director at AB Dynamics. The facility opened in October 2018 and provides facilities for R&D, engineering, technicians, and workshop space for both our track testing and driving simulator business areas.

Our European customers can now place purchase orders for products and support directly on AB Dynamics Europe and quotes can be provided in Euro. We are currently in the process of adding the ability to calibrate track test systems in Gießen and options to provide mobile service and support for our ADAS platform products within Germany.

In the event of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit, AB Dynamics have considered all implications and put in place mitigation to ensure that customers can continue to work seamlessly with AB Dynamics via our German office as well as directly with the UK.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Pim van der Jagt has joined AB Dynamics Europe in the role of Technical Director. Pim has previously held senior roles at Ford with particular expertise in Vehicle Dynamics. Click here to read the full news story. We have also recruited two new engineers based at the Gießen office.

TBJ Dynamics will continue to represent AB Dynamics from their offices in Munich.

Please contact us if you would like more details of how we are addressing the potential implications of the UK’s exit from the European Union.
