Both customers have considerable experience in simulation and selected the aVDS following extensive evaluation and trial sessions. AB Dynamics worked with the customers to further refine our hardware and motion control to deliver optimum ride performance, in order to meet the customers’ stringent requirements.
The aVDS which will be delivered to the OEM customer will include a custom vehicle buck incorporating a real dashboard, controls and interface screens. To deliver the ultimate immersive and realistic driving experience, the aVDS also uses haptic feedback systems including the steering wheel, brake, seat and seat belt.
Both systems will be supplied with driving environments from AB Dynamics group company rFpro and ultra-bright Norxe P1+ LED projectors.
