AB Dynamics introduces the first ADAS test platform capable of meeting Euro NCAP’s new high-speed tests

We’re excited to introduce the GST 120 Plus, the first ADAS target platform capable of achieving the higher speeds required by Euro NCAP’s upcoming 2026 protocols. The GST 120 Plus is a self-propelled platform designed to carry a full vehicle target for ADAS and autonomous vehicle testing and is compatible with DRI’s Soft Car 360® target.

Built on the proven DNA of the GST 120, we’ve engineered this new platform specifically to deliver the speed performance required by the new Euro NCAP’s 2026 protocols.

As Dr Andrew Pick, our Business Director for Track Test Systems, explains: “The upcoming Euro NCAP 2026 protocols represent some of the biggest changes since the ratings scheme was introduced. When we first developed the GST for NCAP testing in 2018, it met the requirements of the time. Those requirements have expanded significantly, and the GST 120 Plus is the first platform capable of running these new high-speed scenarios.”

In addition to its high-speed capability, improved acceleration means the GST 120 Plus can perform tests over shorter distances. This is perfect for proving grounds with limited track space.
