AB Dynamics will be exhibiting at SAE International’s COMVEC™ 25 show for the first time, highlighting our growing capabilities in heavy vehicle testing.
We will be previewing a new heavy-duty kinematics and compliance (K&C) concept, developed specifically to meet the needs of the commercial vehicle sector. It has been designed for Class 7 trucks and beyond and features a modular architecture, making it suitable for both single and multi-axle testing. The new rig expands our range of industry-leading K&C test systems, which includes the benchmark solution for passenger vehicle K&C testing, the SPMM Plus.
On previewing the new concept at COMVEC, Matt Dustan, Director, Laboratory Test Systems, commented: “The development of the new concept meets growing demand from the market for heavy vehicle K&C data. The shift towards electrification, automation and virtual testing and validation is significantly increasing the requirement for this data, but at the same time traditional sources have been diminishing. This has created a real vacuum in the industry, and our new concept is designed to help fill that gap.”
Alongside the new K&C concept, we will be spotlighting our broader heavy vehicle testing capabilities.
