English We are proud to announce that we have achieved UKAS accreditation to ISO 17025, the internationally recognised standard for testing and calibration laboratories, which enhances our calibration service for AB Dynamics’ driving robot systems. This improvement ensures an even greater level of accuracy, consistency and traceability for customers deploying driving robots in vehicle testing applications around the world.
ISO 17025 sets out the general requirements for the competence, impartiality and consistent operation of laboratories. We are now offering driving robot calibration services to this standard.
The upgraded calibration process was developed over a 12-month period and includes improvements to our quality management system, enhanced validation procedures and the acquisition of new calibration equipment. The result is a calibration service with full metrological traceability, giving our customers greater confidence in the accuracy of their results.
The enhanced service covers critical performance parameters of AB Dynamics' driving robots, including the force output of pedal robots, the torque applied by steering robots and the voltage control of robot controllers. These precise calibrations are essential for ensuring consistent and accurate operation across multiple robot systems, particularly for global vehicle manufacturers conducting standardised testing at different locations.

This high-quality calibration can be carried out before our driving robots are shipped to customers and during servicing and maintenance conducted at our UK headquarters.
This enhanced calibration offering is part of a broader maintenance service for our testing products.
