AB Dynamics will be demonstrating the Flex-0 at two events in September - book a meeting with us today.
Flex-0, an innovation from AB Dynamics, enables the precise control of test vehicles directly via the CAN bus or Ethernet without robots in the vehicle cabin. This newly released video shows a vehicle driven by the Flex-0 performing various tests including ADAS, vehicle dynamics and durability.
This drive-by-wire system uses the same familiar software interface as AB Dynamics' driving robots and data can be shared between the two. Highly accurate path-following is also possible on the Flex-0 and it is compatible with Synchro, making it suitable for use in ADAS testing such as the Euro NCAP AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) procedure.
Flex-0 greatly simplifies installation and test processes, reducing costs and minimising the amount of test hardware required within the vehicle.
