AB Dynamics has just released an upgrade for its Soft Pedestrian Target (SPT) drive system for highly repeatable, accurate and synchronised car-to-VRU testing.

We’re pleased to demonstrate that path-following can now be done indoors with no GPS signal, proven in the newly released video showing a demonstration of indoor path-following at IIHS Vehicle Research Center in the USA.

AB Dynamics has just launched a new video of their pilotable platform LaunchPad travelling with Euro NCAP VRU (Vulnerable Road User) pedestrian and bicycle dummies, meaning the AEB car-to-VRU 2018 international test standard can be performed along with other ADAS tests.

AB Dynamics has received two orders from European commercial vehicle manufacturers for advanced driverless durability testing systems. The orders include the award-winning Driverless Test System (DTS) which comprises steering and pedal robots with our best-in-class path following capability. 

AB Dynamics has released v8.5 of its Robot Controller software for the track testing product range. This release includes four new special groups for running the Euro NCAP AEB 2018 protocols for car-to-car and car-to-VRU to make testing much easier.
