In-house Paralegal

Location: Bradford-on-Avon, UK

  • Work Pattern: Hybrid, minimum of 3 days onsite

Role Overview

Great opportunity for a Paralegal to join a growing, international company in the Automotive Sector and get some experience within an in-house legal function. We are looking for a responsible and efficient individual to assist the General Counsel in the day-today activities of AB Dynamics Legal Department.

Working closely with the General Council you will support with transactions and contract work across a broad spectrum, including commercial contracts, corporate M&A work, company secretarial all with an international aspect and will include management of daily tasks, administration and project co-ordination.

What will you be doing?

  • Completing legal Research and preparing legal documents
  • Negotiating Confidentiality Agreements
  • Creating reports
  • Monitoring changes to government guidelines or regulations and submitting reports on pertinent changes
  • Undertaking other general office work, administration and assistance with the organisation of the Legal Department and its external advisors

What are we looking for?

  • A law degree, legal qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience supporting commercial and/or corporate matters
  • Good general IT skills and some knowledge or experience of legal database tools e.g. Practical Law, or Lexis Nexis etc
  • In-house experience within a legal team
  • Exposure to other company or commercial practice areas such as M&A, Company Secretarial, employment law is desirable
